Family Registration Certificate (FRC)

• If married: include spouse & children
• If single: include parents & siblings

• Current status of all family members (e.g. children’s school names, spouse’s office details)
• Marriage Certificate (if Married)
• Parents’ full names and birthdates

• List of previous international travel (with entry/exit dates on a separate page)
• Details of any visa refusals (with refusal letters or reasons)

• Property ownership documents

• Original Letter of Invitation signed by the sponsor in Malta (preferably notarized or accompanied by an official declaration of sponsorship)
• Sponsor’s Passport Copy (photo page + valid residence permit if the sponsor is a non-Maltese citizen)
• Sponsor’s National Identity Document (Maltese ID card if Maltese citizen)
• Sponsor’s Residence Proof (Recent utility bill or official residence certificate issued by the local council)
• Rental Contract or Property Ownership Documents
• Employment Proof: Work Contract, Last 3 Salary Slip
• Or Business Proof (if self-employed): Business Registration Certificate from the Malta Business Registry, Recent Tax Return
• Sponsor’s Bank Statements (last 3 to 6 months)
• Relationship Proof (e.g., Family Registration Certificate from Pakistan with certified English translation if needed)
• Note: Without a properly signed Letter of Invitation, preferably supported by additional documentation such as proof of accommodation and financial stability, sponsorship may not be accepted. Sponsorship does not eliminate the requirement for the applicant to provide their own financial documents — both sponsor and applicant proofs are necessary. The Maltese embassy may also request further documents such as the sponsor’s tax clearance certificate, employment verification, or travel history.
